I know, it's about time we get with it and get our blog going!! I have enjoyed reading everyone's blog and it's a great way to keep updated without emailing everyone!! So, what shall I share with you in this first post? Oh, yah..... we have exciting news in our family..... my sister, Michelle is engaged to Greg Peterson and is planning a May 2007 wedding (as if the month of May was not busy enough!) Greg will be graduating from Moody in May right before they get married. They do not know what their plans will be after that. So, let the wedding planning begin - you know, it's been like 16 years since we have had a wedding in our family and it's a whole new ballgame nowadays (much, much more expensive, or so my dad has been warned)!! Speaking of mom and dad, they are still in the Phillipines for a month and only found out today about their engagment (5 days after the fact). So we are all very excited about getting a brother-in-law, finally, and now I can stop calling him my boyfriend-in-law!! Our kids are all crazy about Greg (does his love for SpongeBob have anything to do with it?). We will have to keep you updated as the planning comes along.
As far as the rest of the family goes, Taylor is pumped about him being able to play in the youth group band on Sunday mornings and maybe Wednesday with his bass guitar - those lessons payed off pretty quick (he's only been playing since Christmas!). Brittany is really glad to finally officially be in the youth group as of last Sunday!! Now we have 2 kids in the youth group!!
We still have 3 weeks left of summer, since they don't go back to school until Aug. 30th!! But we do have all of our school supplies and have had them for a while already!! Taylor will be a FRESHMAN in high school, Brittany in 6th grade, Dawson in 1st grade and Cooper in Mother's Day Out 2 days a week (yipeeeeeeeee - Oh,was that outloud?).
