Cub Scout Campout

Last night was a family campout for all the Cub Scouts in this area. It was actually in Blue Springs and when we got there, we didn't realize there was going to be 700 Cub Scouts and their families!! It was a sea of tents!!
When we got there it was already dark and we had a terrible time finding our troop with the hundreds of tents that were already up. Taylor chose to sleep outside in this chair. It was kinda chilly, but we stayed pretty warm in the tent with all our layers on. No running water, of course, and the only toilets were a few porta-pots with loooong lines (and no toilet paper most of the time). Yipee, for camping and roughing it!!!
On Saturday morning after breakfast of hard biscuits and canned gravy for at least 1500 people, they had different skills stations for the boys to work at. Walking on cans was harder than it looks.
We were pretty tight in this little tent (Cooper stayed with grandma & grandpa for the night).

One of their favorite activity stations was to throw the bike tire around the bucket, but Roger decided to be the human bucket. You should have seen the long line of kids that followed! Brittany got all 4 tires around his neck.
