We had a small gathering this year since our relatives from OK couldn't make it. Michelle and her finance came down from Chicago for the weekend. We had lunch at mom and dad's around 1pm complete with sparkling grape juice.
We all wore our Chiefs shirts since they were playing the Broncos later on that night. Greg is a HUGE Broncos fan, so that made for some interesting discussions.
Our annual Thanksgiving Day walk at Burr Oaks Nature Center took place after lunch instead of in the morning. We combined it with a "Pilgrim Scavenger Hunt" as we split up into two teams to collect our items. Here, Cooper is walking along the trail with his gun to "shoot any animals" that might come along.
We are taking a break on the bridge as we sent Taylor into the creek to gather a "mud ball with a thumb print on it" for our scavenger hunt.
