Tuesday evening, we had our 3rd and final Christmas with DeeDee's family at our house. It was a much smaller gathering with only my parents and Greg and Michelle. Cooper started not feeling well on our way home from Hutch that morning and ended up with a roaring fever by that night. I just sat on the couch with Roger all evening and hardly had enough energy to open his gifts. Our evening started with a grand feast of: tender beef tenderloin with mushroom ragout, shrimp cocktail, cheesy potatoes, frozen fruit salad, garlic green beans, crescent rolls and sparkling grape juice. After gifts, we ended with Brittany's dessert that she made from scratch - Chocolate Strawberry Shortcake. She still wants to be a pastry chef when she grows up (and she's already practicing)!
