Disney's Magic Kingdom

So, is it possible to have too much fun? Apparently it is! Today we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom. We didn't even get there until 11 am, since we wanted to sleep in a little, and the kids were tired and hot and ready to leave by 2 pm!!! But, no way, was I going to leave after spending way too much money to get in and we will probably not come back as a family ANY time soon. So they were just going to have to stay and enjoy themselves! After a few tears and then some ice cream, we were ready for more. It is pretty hot and that just zaps your energy. And not to mention the thousands of people here - it is ridiculous!!! You spend most of your time waiting in line for everything: rides, food, bathroom, gift shops..... Who wants to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for a short water ride?! That's why we repeated some of the rides that didn't have that big of a wait and we just plain skipped some of them with long lines (like Space Mountain).

We also tried to do the rides that we could ALL go on as a family. One of those was the Indy Race Cars. It is quite apparent that it is a few years until they get their driver's licenses!

Of course, we had to cool off in the kids jumping fountains.

We rode Aladdin's Magic Carpet at least three times since it had a short line.
It was a life saver to have a double stroller this time. We just had a hard time keeping Taylor and Brittany out of it, at times. To entertain and keep cooled off, we brought along some water guns and some more bubbles. That seemed to help.
