Today is the day we have been waiting for all winter - opening of the pool!! We scheduled the pool opening for May 1 back in September when we closed it. Well, when the pool company didn't show up yesterday we gave them a call and found out they didn't even have us on their schedule (because of changing computer programs) and they were booked out until the middle of June. We also found out that none of the winterizing had been done, so we had a feeling the pool was going to be pretty gross! Roger made it very clear that we couldn't wait until June and surprisingly, they showed up today in the rain to start cleaning it out. It's going to take a few days to get all the algae cleaned up but we should be up and running by this weekend, hopefully.
