The Country Club Plaza

While Jamie is living with us we are trying to find interesting things around the city to expose her to. This weekend we went to the Art Fair in Westport and then headed over to the Plaza, stopping by the JC Nichols Fountain to take a picture (and play in the water, of course).

We stopped for some ice cream in Westport.

The main event at the Plaza was down by Brush Creek. There were 85 floating bomfires that were lit in the water along with some music, fire eaters, fire dancers, etc. It was a beautiful night to sit outside.

While walking along Brush Creek, we came across these statues of Chinese warriors that Jamie recognized.
