Christmas in Virginia
This is the first time I have had internet in a week, since my sister doesn't have any at her house. Our flight to VA was quite eventful last Saturday. When we left our house to go to the airport is had just begun raining. By the time we got to the airport, it was an all-out snow blizzard. They went ahead and boarded us on the plane but then we couldn't take off because of the snow, so we had to sit on the plane for three hours until it let up outside. Finally they deiced the plane and we took off. Of course, because of our delay, we missed our connecting flight in Detroit. We had made new arrangements for a later flight while sitting in the plane at the KC terminal. We finally arrived in Washington DC at about 11:30 pm. By the time we got our luggage (9 of us and 8 suitcases) and drove 1 1/2 hours to Greg and Michelle's house, it was almost 2 am. Then we got to bed quick to so we could get up in a few hours to go to church.
