We've been kinda quiet on our blog this New Year, so I thought I'd bring you up to speed.
Roger went to Dallas for 4 days with his business partner, Tim, for a flooring convention last week. The next day, Roger and I went to Nebraska for a week to attend some personal marriage counselling. We learned ALOT that week about how to better care for each other's heart. We did alot of praying thru some spiritual strongholds and healing from hurts. Thank you to all of you who have lifted us up in prayer. While we were gone, my mom and dad assumed the roll of parents of five!! They also managed to work in some scavenger hunts and tickle time.
Taylor was able to participate in a fashion show as a model with other high school students in the KC area in "Ally's Runway". It was a fundraiser and self-defense awareness event sponsered by the family of Ally Kemp who was murdered several years ago in Overland Park, KS. There were 11 guys in tuxes and about 275 girls in formal gowns. They all looked so handsome/beautiful.
Brittany finished up her basketball season tonight in a tournament at Tri-City Christian. She scored 8 out of the 12 points! Taylor has a few more games left in February before he is done.
