American Idol hopeful, David Cook, came home to Blue Springs last Friday for a city-wide parade and rally at his alma mater, Blue Springs South H.S. The kids got to get out of school early and attend the rally. Over 30,000 people were at the parade and about 7,000 people packed into the football stadium to hear him sing and receive some awards and a "Key To The City" from the mayor. Be sure to watch and vote on Tuesday night because there is only two weeks left until the winner is announced!!Monday, May 12, 2008
