This has been a very busy week!! That's probably why there has not been any updates for a while and because all our computers crashed! We celebrated Jamie's 16th birthday early before she left with a big swimming and slumber party. It was a great turnout and it was also a "going away" party for her, as well. She left early Tuesday morning to fly to Beijing where her family met her and they spent several days in Shanghai celebrating her birthday before returning to her home town. The plan is for her to apply for a 2 year visa so she can return in August to finish high school. She will find out the end of June if she is granted that visa.
Before she left, Jamie cooked us a fabulous Chinese meal!! It was yummy!! She had done hardly any cooking before she came to the US, so she has learned alot this year. We miss you already, Jamie!!
