Back To School Bash

Our youth group had a big "Back To School Bash" on Wed. night as a ministry opportunity to invite some unchurched friends. We had about 300 teenagers. This year they got to bash a real car.!! Taylor takes a swing at it.

Yes, Mary, you would be proud of your son. He couldn't pass up all those hundreds of pop cans being thrown away. So, he and Cooper dug through the trash cans and the big dumpster and gathered all the cans.

Before they started bashing the car, the kids got to take spray paint and paint all over it. Every kids dream, eh? Dawson got right in there and painted all over, including his shirt (that ended up in the trash).

Brittany sat on the front row with a couple of friends that she brought.

Dawson got to try smashing the car first while all the teens were in their meeting. He took out a side window!!

Here one of the leaders helps Cooper raise the sledge hammer and take a few hits!! Hope he doesn't get any ideas at home!!!!
