Football Sunday

So, what do you suppose we were doing on a Sunday morning all decked out in Chiefs clothes.....you're right.......going to church!! Our new Senior Pastor, Randall Stotts, who came a month ago, is "kicking off" a 100 day P.U.S.H. of recommitment for all of our church. He encouraged us all to wear football jerseys today - that really put Roger out of his comfort zone!!!





We went early this morning to church, about 7:30 am, to help blow up balloons and put them all over the church and parking lot.












The kids had a blast with the balloons - putting them on the cars in the parking lot, putting them on the fences, railings, and anything that was still long enough....











This is the room we blew up the balloons - the whole ceiling was filled with them and then we took them in bunches all over the church. Of course the kids had fun sucking out the helium after church and it sounded like we had a car full of chipmunks!!










Here we are at Sunday morning church in our Chief's jerseys - kinda weird, but fun!!! Some people were surprised to see "Deacon Roger" cutting loose and dressing down for the day!! If they only knew we aren't always so serious......
