Toasted Batteries!!

So, what do you get when you cross a toddler, no supervision for a split second, boredom, AA rechargeable batteries within reach and small kitchen appliances? That's right............... toasted batteries!! Roger walked in the door from work and smelled something burning. He looked at the toaster that was smoking with no one in sight making toast. He looked inside, much to his suprise and found 2 batteries beginning to melt inside the toaster!! Of course we all knew who the culprit was! We fished them out with sharp metal objects (after unplugging it, of course) and rescued the toaster from "aggrevated battery"!! :) The toaster was saved...........the batteries were not.......
