To celebrate the kids going back to school, we took them out to a cool new restaraunt that just opened up called, T-REX. It is similar to Rain Forrest Cafe, but all rehistoric dinosaur surroundings. The kids loved the life-size dinosaur skeleton outside, the moving dinos inside, the HUGE gift shop, the large aquariums filled with colorful fish, and even digging for bones in the sand pit! We were seated right next to two hideous sounding, wailing dinos that sounded off every 5 min. or so - you really had to stop in mid-sentence until they were done "groaning". There was also a "volcano eruption" every 15 min. or so with the lights dimming and flames shooting up, complete with sound affects. Pretty cool. We all enjoyed the ENORMOUS brownie dessert with a "smoking volcano" using dry ice in the middle (see above picture). For those of you who were wondering if Taylor was ever going to get a haircut, he suprised us all and got it cut (also, see above picture) by one of the youth workers at church, all on his own without us asking him too. He likes having shorter hair now and there are no complaints from his dad!
