When In Rome Musical
Well, it's finally over. All those months of work and the countless hours put in by MANY have finally paid off!!! We want to thank those of you who came to support Taylor on one of the three nights. Here are a few of the pictures that I took before, during and after the performances. In case you missed it, we will buy a copy of the DVD of the performance.
After the Sunday night performance, Taylor presented the director, Mrs. Horine, with a bouquet of flowers from the cast.
After being the last gladiator "standing", Gladious (Taylor) sleeps through his marriage to the princess after accidently being drugged with Nyquil!
Yes, that Taylor in a dress! He is disguising himself as a woman so he can sneak into the palace and get close to the princess, whom he has fallen in love with.
Here Taylor and his two "partners in crime" sing the song, "I'm Gonna Die" as they prepare for the gladiator games that he has to fight in.
Gladis (Gladious), Minimus (Mini), and Julia talk with the Senator's Wifes who want to sell items at the gladiator games to make money to give to the poor.
Gladis likes the idea of selling "lizards on a stick", pet rocks and programs at the gladiator games in which he will be fighting Brutus (Gladis isn't the smartest of the bunch!).
Gladis and the Princess sing as the chorus behind them do a western line dance!
The games begin!! Round 1 features the chair vs. whip - and guess who has the whip, yep. Brutus!!
This is the reception after the performance in the school gym.

Taylor got a little help from some of the girls to put on his make-up - especially his eye liner.
