Spring is here!!

Yea!!! Spring is finally here!! Tonight after dinner we all went outside to play a little kickball in the street (we live at the end of a cul-de-sac) with a couple of neighbor kids. Cooper wanted me to hold the kickball (like a football) for him to kick. We all got a little exercise, too. Everything is getting so green and lush. We finally decided to buy a lawn mower and have Taylor start mowing our yard instead of having a lawn service do it. Roger went out and bought a nice self-propelled, rear bagger (of course) John Deere mower. You would be proud of him, Grandpa Tucker! We don't have a very big yard (since we put in the pool) but the hills on the side of the house are a killer. He can handle it - especially since he is 6 ft. tall now!

Here are some of the flowers that are blooming in our yard! It's fun to see what we planted in the fall finally come up after a long, cold winter. I always love the promise of new life that spring brings each year!!
