The LOFT Grand Opening!!

Today was an exciting day at our church! We had a Children's Department Extreme Makeover where we gutted the whole third floor of our children's building and remodeled it. We starteed out by knocking out all the walls of the little classrooms and made it one BIG worship center with a kitchen area, picnic area, game center and a stage area. It's amazing what bright paint colors and new flooring can do to a place!! It has been named the LOFT (Learn, Obey, Follow, Trust) where kids can learn about Jesus and have fun doing it!!

Being Palm Sunday today, the kids made palm branches to wave as "Jesus" came in riding on a "donkey" during worship.

The bubble machine was a huge hit with kids and adults alike!

The kitchen area served popcorn and lemonade as we celebrated the Grand Opening!

God is doing some amazing things at church already with our new pastor, and we are looking forward to our new worship leader coming in two weeks! We have been without a full-time worship leader for about 3 years! God has been faithful through all our tough times at church and now it seems as though we have a "new beginning", just like the promise that spring brings every year!
