Around the house today

Today we had great plans of what we were going to get accomplished inside the house since it's still acting like winter outside with snow/rain. However............I decided it was time to call the help desk to get my laptop's wireless internet working after being down for a couple of weeks. THREE AND A HALF HOURS later we FINALLY got it working - gotta love those computers!! :(

I've been working feverishly on decorations for Michelle's wedding (only 5 weeks away) which is hard since she is still in Chicago. Things are finally coming together. She will be moving home in a couple of weeks and then we will all be going back up to Chicago for Greg's graduation from Moody and then they get married the next weekend. Whew!!! Then they are off on their honeymoon and we are off on our family vacation to Orlando for a week. And since we will be within a few hours from the newlyweds, we will be meeting up for a day at one of the Disney parks!! Nothing like spending some of your honeymoon with family!! :)

Taylor got to buy a new amp for his bass guitar today that he has been saving up for - he blew his last amp!! Now he has a much more powerful one - yipee. This one literally shakes the house and the neighbor kid could hear it from across the street. Go ahead, ask me how we know!!

Tomorrow after church we are having a church-wide appreciation picnic for our interim music man that has served us for 3 years or so, since our new music minister starts next Sunday!!
