Our Dear Nadene

Our dear second Grandmother, Nadene, went home to be with her Lord last week. This visit in the hospital was on Monday before she passed away on Saturday back at the Nursing Home surrounded by family. We have known her and treated her like family for 27 years. Mom and Dad had become her legal guardian, since she never had any children. Of course, with all their travels, they were out of town when Nadene passed away, so Michelle and I had the priviledge of dealing with funeral arrangments and going through her room and packing up all her earthly belongings.

Roger and Taylor were asked to help carry the casket. Since mom and dad were out of town, Kevin Stone (from Calvary and KLJC) performed the service and did a GREAT job! It was such a celebration of her life and not much sorrow since we know she is with Jesus and reunited with her husband and has a NEW body!!! The legacy she left behind was that of a POWERFUL Prayer Warrior and she touched everyone she came in contact with, including all the residents and staff at the nursing home. She will be greatly missed!
