PURSE-onality Benefit Auction

Our big school fundraiser for the semester sponsered by the PTF, which I am the President of this year, was called Plaza PURSE-onality Benefit Auction. We had new and used purses for sale, on silent auction and live auction. This is one of the signs that I made for the event that we have been planning since May!

The ladies are preparing lunches, that came with each ticket, for the event that brought in about 125 people.

Can you guess which purse I ended up buying that day? Yup, that's the one - the zebra print with lime green!!

This table displayed the Live Auction purses that were donated by various Christian celebrities like: Patsy Clairmont, Barlow Girl, Gloria Gaither, Gracia Burnham, Jeanette Oke, Liz Curtis Higgs, and the MO Govenor's wife, to name a few!!

This is part of the planning team standing in our "Boutique" with new and used jewelry and accessories. What fun we had!!

During our live auction, we had some husbands model the purses while the "Bag Lady" narrated. One of the school teachers was the MC of the day and he even wore a pink boa!

It was a great success with the school bringing in over $5,400!! It was alot of fun and we are looking forward to doing this fundraiser next year, too.
