It's almost here!!! The trip we have been planning and praying for almost a year. A team of 30 of us will be leaving Washington DC at 11:00 am on June 1st for Uganda!
One of the ministries that we will be working with is "Sixty Feet" (see link to the right). They minister to children in prisons. Yes. I said prisons! These children either committed a crime or were abandoned by their family or are orphans. We hope to love on them and spread the love of Jesus!
Tomorrow is our Africa Fundraiser Yard/Bake Sale!! The weather will not be great but at least it should be dry. We are hoping to raise the rest of the money needed by the end of this month, about $1,500. We also hope to sell out of all our Simply Love t-shirts. If you still want a shirt before they are gone, let me know!!
