I watched Esther make jewelry that they sell in their little store to help raise funds for the Home. She also showed be how they make the paper-rolled beaded jewelry that is so popular in Uganda. In the photo, she is cutting strips of paper that are then rolled around a nail and covered in varnish (then the nail is removed) The paper beads are very beautiful and come in all sorts of colors and each one is unique.
Here is the final product. The beads are very time consuming to make, yet they sell the necklaces for only a couple of dollars!!

I had fun hanging out with the kids in the chapel and got out some coloring books/crayons for them. This picture is the 3 kids we sponsor. The youngest one (in the middle) in Anna, who is sponsored by our church's Life Group. This was the first time I got to meet her and she is sooo sweet (but does not speak very much English yet - she is only 4). She had the biggest dimples when she smiles.
It has been another great day in Africa!!!
